Sexy Scandinavian Street Style

When one mentions Scandinavian style, a combination of clean, functional design comes to mind as well as Ikea. Yet at Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm fashion week, there was nothing simple nor functional about the street style. Summer does in fact exist in the Northern part of Europe, much to my surprise, and my Instagram feed has been a chromatic reel of transitional style inspiration.

The Danish term Hygge, used to describe a feeling of warmth and familiarity is how I want to feel with Danish street style: well acquainted and familiar. Pink and red were colours which seem to have stood out, as well as layers, pointed floral stocking boots and combinations that scream here I am, sit down and take notice. To combat the cool, clean, white aesthetic synonymous with Scandinavia, people are taking to the streets in head to toe maximal-ism.

Presented below are photos of the dreamiest Scandinavian women who know their way around a Balenciaga shoe store.
