Don't sleeve me alone

A trend that seems to have no end in sight is ballooning, billowing, boisterous sleeves. A glance at the runways and streets at this month’s fashion weeks have displayed women with bells around their wrists. No longer are too- long sleeves reserved for moody teenagers’ hoodies, but instead this season’s trend is an extravagant wrist embellished party, and everyone is invited. Are they practical, no, but since when has fashion’s most prominent feature been practicality. Feel like Shakespeare when writing, a quill is optional, feel like a pirate when pointing in the distance, eye patch not optional. This not so new trend is dramatic and elevates any look, and looks best when the sleeves hang well past one’s hands or have a big enough circumferences to hide things, like tricks.
